.........................................My New House Construction PicturesThe following are construction pictures of my new house/shop. I've had a of couple friends helping at times and I hired a crew to come in for one day and pour the main slab, but other than that I have done all the work myself except when I can con a visiting friend into helping. We want to say thanks to you guys and gals that have taken some of your vacation time to help me.

.I also drew up the plans myself with a cheap CAD program and had them approved by the building inspector. The front section will be for my car projects and the back will be the living quarters. When done the front will hopefully resemble a 1930's gas station
I want to thank everyone who has helped on this project, especially Bob and Don, who are both friends that live in St. Louis and gave me a lot of help along with Francois and Mia from Belgium and Gerard from France.
Prior to building this home I had built two of my previous homes and my store. Building construction is not some deep dark secret, so I would encourage any of you to take on building your own home. You can do a lot to reduce the big debt of buying a finished house or having one built and you will also have the satisfaction of building your own home and building it the way you want. It is a lot of work and takes a lot of time, but it is better than sitting in front of the TV.
