.............................. Finish Walls in the Living Room

.....

................

After the floors were done it was on to the tongue and groove aspen walls in the living room, craft area, and hall way. Above is the wall between the living room and the sun room to the left and the outside wall to the right. Excuse the mess in these pictures as we are living and working in these areas at the same time.

The west wall of the living room with the wood burning stove in the foreground to the right.

Further along the west wall and looking into the area that will be setup for Julie to work in with her hobbies. The opening in the wall on the upper left-hand side is for a swamp cooler if needed. The trim around all the windows and doors is cedar. You can also see a string of Christmas lights in some of these pictures.

Another view of the craft area and of the natural gas fired stove that direct vents with double wall pipe out the side wall.

I ran the aspen behind the stove in a vertical layout just to break things up a little. The stove has fake logs and will provide heat if we don't want to use the wood stove. We had one 7 degree night and the house stayed over 60 with the wood stove even though the fire probably burned out by midnight.

This is a short hall to the right of the gas stove leading to the bedroom and bath/shop hallway. The door to the left is to a closet and the one on the right is the bedroom door.
