My shoulder improves more and I have more movement in it without sever pain. I went to the bow to adjust one of the shore lines and found it was still useless as far as trying to pull with it, but I could now push down on that arm and support myself with it.

Still the decision was made to sit tight for another day and also the next day. Our decision as to what to do once we actually left was still up in the air. The thing that hurt me far worst than my shoulder, head, back and knee was that we wouldn't be able to sail as far as Bullfrog/Halls Crossing still about 50 miles up the lake. We had decided that if we were to continue on the motor alone from this point we would motor north to Bullfrog/Halls and not back to Wahweap as it looked to only be 5-8 miles further than returning to Wahweap. It would also be 90 miles less driving if Shawn was to come get us at Halls vs. Wahweap.

Also I had told Ruth that if there was anyway we could do it I would still like to try and sail another 10-12 miles to where the San Juan River Arm of the lake joins the main channel. She told me that if that was a possibility she would support that decision despite her desire to be back in Blanding in the comforting confines of our home. She is the most supporting person I've had in my life, besides my departed mom, and I would never put either before the other and have loved them both more than anyone else along with my wife Jane who died of Leukemia. I've been very lucky to of had my mom in most of my life till she passed and now Ruth has come along to share what time I have left here. I'm a very fortunate person.

........

With not much else to do I decided to take some pictures of some of the mods to the boat that were done between our trip to Idaho/Canada and this trip. Above is the storage to the right side of the companion way that is pretty much mine and has my camera, spotlight, vitamins and other miscellaneous junk that is now easy to get to.

........

The one on the other side is Ruth's, but also holds the binoculars, batteries for the GPS and lights and other items of hers. Both of these storage additions put a lot of things we use a lot at our finger tips now and we already like them a lot.

........

I also made this table that really worked out great as it can be easily positioned all over the cabin, either on the steps in various positions (shown) or it can rest with one end on the sink counter in various positions. If you don't have a table make one of these and you will love it.

........

We continue to love the storage above and to the right of the sink as it houses all of our pots and pans, dishes and silverware and other items to make a meal.

........

The weather continued to be good with the usual awesome........

........

......... sunset and except for the occasional gust and some possible.............

..... local showers it is suppose to remain that way.
