A view in the shop just after painting (2 coats of epoxy primer gray followed by 2 coats of Urethane white). The boards down the middle that go to the centerboard roller/support keep the centerboard out of the cross bunks if it is down. Notice also that the trailer has been extended and now has a third rear bunk.

.........

A view from the front. The side bunks are not on in these pictures. All of the metal to metal contact points such as the fenders and their braces are held on with stainless bolts with 2 washers between the contact points to hopefully help these areas dry quicker without water trapped between them.

I made the second axle so that it is the same width as the factory one (arrow). It was made from square tubing and stub axles.

Sub-frame for added strength with spring mounts.

.........

Bike rack mount.

I didn't like the stock tongue jack, so replaced it with one the swivels up and has a wheel.

I also added the tongue support that will be somewhat of a theft deterrent if we leave the trailer someplace by itself. It puts the tongue high enough that it would be higher than most people's hitches and would dig into the ground if you tried to pull the trailer. It is held in with a locking pin when needed.
