The MacGregor S's (1990 to 1995) have a swing centerboard and the uphaul/downhaul line comes up under the sink and runs through a turning block over to starboard and then turns aft and comes out under the sink counter where it can then be cleated off. Not bad, but it requires you to go below into the cabin to raise or lower the centerboard. There are times it sure would be nice to do this from the cockpit and not have to go below. Bob Hussey solved the problem as you will see in the pictures below. I'll let his wording describe what he did. Thanks, Bob!!
