...........................................--- Solar Electrical Junction Box ---

..........................................................................................--- Part II ---

..............

The remainder of the sides and inside walls were welded to the framework.

..............

Then more angle was used and welded to the sides.

..............

These aluminum pieces were raised some so that...

..............

.... the door, bottom right could slide into the angle framework. Notice that the angle pieces were left off of the bottom. Above are the different pieces that make up this junction box.

..............

Two posts were cut to ....

..............

... be used with the piece that the electrical components were attached to.

..............

The posts stand that piece and the wiring off the back of the box. The arrows show the routing for the wiring and notice the opening at the bottom for water runoff from the side where the wiring will come down through. All of that is just to make the install a little cleaner and less wiring will be showing in the cockpit.

..............

Above you can see how the front slides up into the angle pieces and is held there with a SS bolt on the bottom.

..............

The box was mounted up under the ....

..............

.....framework that supports the ...

..............

.... solar panels and yes I need to grind the welds on this side also.

..............

Here is the box as it will be visible from the cockpit.
