Mike Akatiff has been so kind to share pictures of his motorcycle streamliner with the land speed racing community. I received a couple CD's with lots of pictures and have had to narrow the selection down some due to storage on my server.

I'd like to add that I feel the design and construction of this liner by Mike and his crew is about as good as it gets and he has a number of new innovative ideas. I hope as time goes on and he has time we can add some text to these pages to help understand better what has been accomplished by this team.

c ya, Sumner

..............................--- Australia March 2006 ---

...(Unfortunatly The Australia Salt was wet and no record runs were possible)

Below is the proposed track layout for our March 2006 runs at Lake Gardiner in southern Australia. In trying for FIM records we will be providing our own timing equipment set up just past the DLRA timing equipment. The meet is put on by the Dry Lake Racers of Australia (DLRA). They are helping us out by extending their usual 9 mile track to a 15 to 16 mile long track (see the added white blocks below).
