The two carved pots in this view were hand thrown and carved by Lawrence Crank (Navajo) from Monument Valley, Utah. He does some beautiful work and it usually doesn't stay in the store long.

We normally have a lare selection of necklates to choose from including some from Ray Lovato, who is from Santa Domingo Pueblo in New Mexico. A number of the handmade bead necklaces in the picture before this one are also his. We buy necklaces and earrings from half a dozen jewelry makers from Santa Domingo.

Betty Vigil (Navajo) does some outstanding traditional Navajo sandpaintings for us each year. She uses all local sands for here work and they are just beautiful. It is getting hard to find someone who still does the traditional sandpaintings and we are lucky to have Betty. If your interest lies in contemporary sandpainting pictures we usually have some of those also by Tim Harvey (Navajo).

We normally have a well balance selection of kachinas, Hopi and Navajo in different styles. The smaller ones in this photo were done by a Peter Tsosie (Hopi/Navajo) who was only 16 when he did these kachinas. The one in the middle is not really a kachina at all, but a Sioux dancer done by Marlin Killsinsight (Lakota-Sioux).
