Betty Vigil is from the Aneth, Utah area of the Navajo Nation. She does excellent sandpaintings using local sands. She will change a small item or two in the Sandpainting in respect to her Navajo Religion as no sandpainting is suppose to exist for more than the day it is used. You won't find a nicer traditional sandpainting than these and the pictures just don't due them justice. There are not many Navajo's who do traditional sandpaintings anymore.
