Jack and Sue Jacobson's teardrop -- My trailer was
built from Phil's plans. I did make it 9 feet long instead of 8 feet like the plans. that gave me extra sleeping
length. Also I put a footwell in and a dinette table inside. Probably like you, we have had a great time with it
since we got it done. Hope to get more trips in this year.

Sue and I did all the construction of the trailer along with my 15 year old daughter's
help. Sue also designed the cabinets for the kitchen and I did get some help putting those together from my neighbor,
who came up with some neat latches that when latched, the knobs are flush with the face of the cabinet. I used
birch plywood for the sides and mahogany for the floor. With the paneling on the inside roof, it gives it kind
of a "cabin" type feel inside. With almost 7 feet of sleeping length it is really comfy. The dinette
on the inside, with the footwell really makes for a functional trailer. We actually call it our 4 room trailer
kitchen, bedroom, dining room, and basement). The pictures I sent were taken in Carson City Nev. last summer on
our inaugural trip. I had finished it on a wed. afternoon and we left that night for Nevada. It was a great time.
