..................--- Headers - Intake - Latch & More ---..........

I was going to put a non Calif. manifold (one that doesn't have a catalytic converter grafted on). I couldn't find one so I asked my buddy in OR. if he had one. He said he would try to locate one and that the '91, '92 Saturn's had tube headers from the factory.UPS dropped off a set a couple of days ago. Early Christmas! Saved me at least 40 hrs. fabricating or having to use the cast iron type. I was planning on running a single 2 1/2" tail pipe out the back of the car but it is tempting to turn them out the side. Thanks for the headers, Bob

Air box and cooler and air box on the right side. This was fun to make. It will use the top outside body skin for a cover and will be sealed with cowl silicon belting. The 21" X 7" X 1 1/2 heat exchange unit is a transmission cooler. It's as big as I could put in and I don't think it will restrict the air flow. The box will feed from a NACA style duct that will be placed in a questionable place. I'm hoping that the some air flow is attached behind the cockpit area to feed the air duct.

..........................

The duct discharge will be close to the exchange unit and aimed to the rear. Not much room for any ducting until it goes through the exchanger. As much as I know about air flow, I hope it doesn't pull a vacuum on the air box. That would suck! Sorry.

Can't believe I still haven't got the configuration and shape of the rear nailed down after 2 1/2 years.

.....................................

I had to change the top of the canopy to match up with the top body shape. The 2024 T3 that I had used wouldn't shrink so I had to cut, weld and beat it down so I could fill it with body filler.

The latch works. That's about all I can say about it. Still a long way to go.
