10 X 4 Teardrop Construction

Construction Of My 10 X 4 Teardrop Trailer -- The primary purpose of this trailer is one that would either work for someone going to car shows and/or camping off road. It will be 4 X 10 feet and 61 inches wide.

With the axle below the springs and running 14" tires/wheels it will sit 10 inches above the ground.

For someone who wants to go off road camping the axle will be above the springs and it will use 15" wheels/tires and will have a ground clearance of 16".

This will be the initial setup for this one so that I can use it behind my jeep. After it is done it will probably be for sale and I'll start another one.

The tongue will have two positions to keep the hitch height about the same and someone will be able to change from the low height to the high height in less than 45 minutes.
