Tongue -- Battery/Water Tank Compartment -- Ride Height -- The following will show the construction of the Tongue Support, the battery/Water Tank Compartment and the ride height with the different axle locations and wheel/tire sizes.

.................

I made the tongue support out of two pieces of 1 X 2 X.120 steel tubing. This will give me more strength than one 2 X 2 X .250. This piece will be welded onto the frame with bracing and will stick out of the body about 2 feet. The actual tongue will be 4 feet long and will bolt to either the top or bottom of this piece to accommodate different ride heights depending on the wheel/tire size and or flipping the axle above or below the springs.

.............

Here the 2 pieces are being welded together. I went back and forth with short welds until the seam was completely welded for the entire length.

.................

Here you can see the tongue support piece welded onto the front of the frame and the additional 1 X 1 support members to strengthen it.

...............................................

The box like area at the rear of the frame is for the water tank and the battery that will be under the bed.

...............................................

A better picture of this area. In this view the frame has been turned up side down to ease the welding of the box area.

...............................................

This picture shows the floor supports for the floor area in front of the bed and behind the kitchen area. I will use 1/2 inch wafer board for the floor. There will be .030 aluminum under this whole area to give it some protection from the weather.

This shows you the height of the frame above the ground with the 14 inch wheels and the axle over the springs.

This shows you the height of the frame above the ground with the 15 inch wheels and the axle under the springs.
