Fenders -- The following pictures show how I made the fenders. The sides of them will eventually be filled in for a more complete look and I'll have more text for this section in the future.

I started with one tandem axle fender and one regular single axle fender. I then cut the long fender in half.

Next I laid the single fender next to it to see where I wanted to cut them both off. This was done on the side of the trailer fender in the position the fender would end up with the wheel/tire in its final position.

Here I have the large tire in position and the fenders welded together and figuring out where to make my back cut (where the particle board is).

Fender mounted in the final position. Later I will fill the side of the fender with 16 gauge metal and radius it to the tire for a more finished look. See the final picture for an example of this.

The fender will be part inside the body walls and part outside as shown in this picture.

This is the fender I made for my pop-up teardrop and you can see how I filled the side in. I'll do the same to the ones above. You'll also notice how my new fender is rounded at the back and not a straight slant like above.T
