Herman is from the Aneth, Utah area of the Navajo Nation.
Herman's hand carved pots are filled with beautifully Native American designs and animals. He takes a cast pot
and covers it with multiple layers of glazes and then he carves back through the different layers of glazes to
the color he wants on that part of the design. This is very delicate carving and if you go to deep you can't correct
it. After the pot is finished it is fired. I will try to get some better pictures up as these just don't do his
work justice
