Navajo Folk art as we know it today has been done in various
forms by the Navajos for some time, but it wasn't until the last 20 years or so that it has been sold. Many of
the basic items were things parents could make for/or with their children for little or no money, such as, mud
toys, cardboard cutouts and wood carvings. It has now turned into a whole arts and crafts field of it's own.
